I cannot make an acct to submit a change to this page, but I have gotten the quickplay media keys to work. I just used keybindings from the k system settings app in Kubuntu Edgy, 2.6.17-10. Set the keys to amarok and vlc. No problems at all..

Keybindings lists the keys as XF86AudioMedia and XF86Music, from left to right.
