Welcome to SuperK.org
This site is dedicated to providing information and opinion on all sorts of things. It is also intended to be an outlet for my writing & information about me. Computing is my profession as well as my hobby. The persuit of knowledge is my lifetime project. I hope this collection of writings is a valid reflection of that. Please read and contribute and together we'll learn.
What SuperK.org is Not
Well, this is interesting. A search on Google produced some unexpected results for 'superk'. What this site is not about is Super-Kamiokande (often referred to as 'Super-K' for short). Check out that link to Wikipedia for more information about that 'Super-K'.
Moving
We're packing up and heading east!! In the beginning of April we're heading back to Pennsylvania and, honestly, I can't wait! Things, of course, are getting very hectic with all the packing and whatnot that needs to be done, so my productivity has gone down the tubes. However, since I'm not working at home and mainly just helping my replacement at the Desert Museum transition into my old job, I have had some time to focus on a few new open source projects that I think are quite interesting.
All that being said, I look forward to carrying on from the pretty green country of southeastern Pennsylvania soon!

About Me
Some information about me (probably more than you care to know) is floating around this site.
I've been working on putting together a fairly large collection of family slides recently. Fortunately where I work has a couple slide scanners used for capturing high-quality photos to digital format for research purposes. I happened to have the opportunity to borrow one for a couple weeks which will be invaluable for this project.
